What is Sambal Belacan?

If you like funk 🍤 and fire 🔥, this is it!

Sambal Belacan is a Singaporean/Malaysian-style hot sauce with toasted fermented shrimp paste, fresh chili, lime, salt and sugar.

It is usually served with jasmine rice, congee or with any Malay dishes to give it fiery, funky but yummy sensation! My mom eats it rice and raw veges (ulam) ❤️
