We’re going a little beyond the surf this time, and it’s gonna be a blast…

First up is Drifting Sand [@driftingsandsurfband], a surf-pop band from the SF Bay Area. They have been writing, recording and performing songs about surfing, girls and having fun at the beach since 1993. They’re a favorite on Rodney Bingenheimer’s [@rodneybingenheimer] show on Little Steven’s Underground Garage [@littlesteven_ug] SiriusXM, Channel 21. Tune in on Sundays at 6pm, and there’s a very good chance you’ll hear them 🙂

Next is Stay Out [@stayoutband], from Oakland, playing original punk/ska/punk pop. While creating their own flair in the genre, the music is influenced by Rancid, Green Day, and Blink-182. Did we happen to mention they’re one of our favorite local bands? Well, they are! Check out their new album JUST PRETEND, available on iTunes, Bandcamp, and Amazon. It’s a scorcher…
